The Chinese website SGamer has conducted an interview with Deity.Xiaoluo, the MVP of the final match vs CH. myMYM.com has taken the time to translate the interview for you.
Following the end of the NGF DotA qualifiers. Team Deity has beaten the odds in the tournament involving strong teams such as Nirvana.cn, CH, EHOME and LGD.sGty. Deity earned the chance to play against Nirvana.my through a 2-1 win against CH in a BO3.
Despite the fact that Deity held a 1-0 advantage coming from the winner brackets, CH gave them a very hard time which provided great entertainment for the DotA community. In the final deciding match, Deity won through outstanding teamplay. The MVP of the match was none other than Xiaoluo’s weaver, a newcomer to professional DotA and he has certainly proved his usefulness through these epic games.

Papa Dray is back yet again to share his seemingly neverending wisdom. This week: the ganker isn’t rewarded enough.
Drayich, along with a majority of the community, have a great deal of respect for Icefrog and his team of beta-testers, but at the end of the day, someone will always find a way to turn a relatively “balanced” version into an overpowered struggle, be it with item choice or different line ups. So the question remains; what is this pivotal item in the modern day game? According to Drayich, it is none other than the versatile Magic Stick.
Upon arriving to this conclusion, Drayich took a trip into the past. In the days 48b, the first team to farm up their blink daggers won. Well, most of the time. In the days of mouse-sports, or the Black King Bar era, Dray and his team would play with atleast two BKB heroes and no matter how much they got pummeled early on, once they had their BKBs it was over. Even now, by winning one team battle, a team can go from having a twenty kill deficit to actually winning the match; merely because they had more farming power than their opponents. Drayich now poses the question: Is this how we want competitive DotA to look?

On Wednesday, March 3rd, Nirvana.Int Merlini joined TGBF.tv shoutcaster Mark ‘Madmortigan’ Dravland for an interview where some of his questions addressed his new captain Puppey. That day, his team Nirvana.Int battled Storm Games Clan (SGC) for the Farm4Fame semi-finals.
In your opinion Merlini, who would you say is the best player in the world right now?
-Playing under Puppey has really opened up my eyes to how good a Dota player can be. He is, no insult to Jacob who I played under in MYM or Fear who I played under in EG but I think, Puppey is just a step above each of those guys both in theory crafting, acting as a captain and as a player. His play usually exceeds my expectations and I’m always pleasantly surprised by how well his strategies work out and the way he plays. He is always very very serious about the game and tries as hard as to win. He never fools around or you know get rapier or smashing somebody, I’ve never seen him do that. But in my opinion, he is the best player that I know of at the moment. But then again I haven’t played with many of the Asians and there could very well be someone that is much better on the other side of the globe but I haven’t had enough experience to say that Puppey is the best player in the world but I can definitely say that Puppey is the best player that I have played with.
