The EDC Amateur champions, Annie.gaming have added another superbly talented and veteran DotA player to their roster, Marko ‘Silentcat’ Kovacevic thus bringing the tally of this up and coming team’s roster to six.
Europe Annie Gaming, a DotA team showing a lot of promise in the professional scene mainly comprising of Serbian players, both old school as well as new, is proud to announce the addition of a veteran player well known in the DotA scene for a long time now. The player is none other than Marko ‘Silentcat’ Kovacevic who is a former player from Serious Gaming, well known as srs]razer[cat.
Annie have been performing relatively well in their recent encounters and displayed some extraordinary team work in their EDC Showmatch vs Online-Kingdom in which they claimed the experimental -Capture Point mode game as their own. The addition of this old school veteran is sure to spice up their roster and take them to the next level in professional DotA, both LAN and online. They are only a point behind Tribal.fr in their respective Pick-League Division which is 2a and have shown some amazing set of skills in their matches. We wish them the best of luck in future matches.
Statement, Marko ‘Silentcat’ Kovacevic:
Yes… I’m back again… For 3rd, or 4th time, I have no idea. Lost count. Been playing this for too long to quit it. DotA for me is as close to a perfect game as it gets… This pause from DotA is exactly what I needed, during my time in tribal I wanted to gank too much, and the game went in the other direction, lategame. In the mean time I tried to think about DotA as least as possible… Played a couple of LAN’s, here and there, with old dota buddies and IRL friends, that helped me keep in touch with the game. Now I have a totally different idea of playing dota and I finally can go ricing forever and not get bored of it… At least that’s what you need to do to win nowadays, most of the time anyway. As for my joining to annie, I think they’re a great bunch of guys. They have a lot of talent and great team spirit. Which is always a basis of making a great team. I’m sure we can make it to the top. After a couple of scrims against top teams, and winning most of them, clicking good ingame, having a similiar idea of dota, I was invited by the team to join, and I gladly accepted. Hope we can do great things, and also as our results progress, find a good sponsor.
Statement, Marko ‘Luci’ Tomic, Annie Leader:
After some time of thinking and talking with my team I had decided to invite SilentCat into Annie.dota for primarily two reasons - to fill up our missing role (true ingame leader) and to strengthen up our line-up for competetive dota. I think there is not much to say regarding Cats talent/skill as they speak for themselves and he has already proved himself to be one of the finest European players. Cat is a nice person and great guy to follow. I hope we can be very succesful and reach what we expect! Annie.dota fighting ! Shoutout to MaGG, we love u <3
