Razer’s Global Challenge just ended with Nirvana.CN from China taking home the gold medal with a 3-1 win over NWO.

Nirvana.CN may not have much of an offline success for the year, but the RGC win is more than a compensation for the Chinese. They overcame the lags and delays of online play to emerge victorious over more than 1000 teams.

In wake of the controversial November 4th matches between Meet Your Makers and Nirvana.cn, RGC head administrator Mooseman, MYM captain Maelk, and MYM veteran Mania gave statements to shed light on the ‘hacker’ situation.

RGC’s Mooseman gave GosuGamers an omnibus statement addressing both the WTV/GG-TV issues the league has been having, as well as RGC’s official position on the MYM/Nv.cn situation. In his statement, Mooseman explained the league’s decision to make null the results of the second game in the series and also announced that the remaining matches between the teams will be played secretly and without broadcast. The RGC head admin briefly touched on the recent criticisms the league has been receiving in regards to the WTV/GG-TV issue.

Its all over, Happyfeet reigns supreme in AMPGL season finale. They are also the team that has the highest points throughout the league. However due to passport issues, they will not be heading to SMM, instead the second highest scorer, Mineski-Grounds will go.

Happyfeet can proudly say that they are the best of the best in the Philippines. Dropping only two maps in the entire season finale. One due to a disqualification for being late and another to Mineski-Grounds in the Grand Final match.

Its all down to the wire for Philippine’s finest as they fight it all out for a trip to Malaysia to attend SMM’s Grand National DotA Tournament.

Considered to be the epitome of Philippine’s DotA scene, the Grand Finals have attracted over 100 teams to participate, one of the largest turn out in any event. However, the dreams of many hopefuls have ended as only 24 teams remain having gone through a single elimination bracket.

After three days of competition the grand finals will be between EHOME and Nirvana.my. Which country will reign supreme? China or Malaysia? We’ll find out once the match gets underway tomorrow at 5pm (GMT+8).Credit to SGamer for the brackets.

As one can see from the brackets, the majority of the international teams have gone through to the top 16. One of the bigger upsets was XtC’s (ESTC 2009 champions) inability to reach to the top 16 after losing their first match in the top 32.
