ESWC has finally come to an end with EHOME taking home with a flawless victory, losing none of their games at all.

EHOME who topped the GosuGamer’s poll as to who will win ESWC have just done that. The most impressive part of their win is their sheer dominance of the tournament, EHOME has not lost a single match throughout the competition.

In day three, MYM meet Nirvana.GiGa.int in the first match of the day to determine who will advance in the losers bracket. MYM quickly defeated Nirvana.GiGa.int leaving the American team with a fourth place finish. Shortly after, it was the game between DTS and EHOME to determine who will have the one game advantage from the losers bracket. While DTS put on a good fight, they quickly fell to EHOME, sending them to the losers bracket finals to face the Danes.

The final day for ESWC kicks off with the every match having a lot at stake. The days starts off with Nirvana.Int going up against MYM. MYM had defeated Nirvana.Int in the group stage and this was an opportunity for them to take revenge against the Danish team. Mineski had not been performing well lately with the lack of stable roster and leadership after the retirement of rhom. Due to the retirement of rhom, Mineski announced that they were looking for a fifth player. To top that off, they also decided to sponsor a second Mineski team, Mineskii.

Finally the fifth slot for Mineski has been filled by none other than Jordan ‘Jord’ Jose. Jord was one of the founders of Team Pag-ibig. He is consider one of the best support/ganker in Philippines competitive scene.

With the recent announcement of the invited teams for ESWC (ESWC announces list of invited teams…), it was music to one’s ears to hear that ESWC decided to invite nine teams instead of the predetermined five teams as well as Malaysia confirming its qualifier, which is to be held on the 6th June.

Gaming organization, Mineski Gaming, who currently sponsor MineskI-DotA, have added a second team to their family, Pag-ibig 1.

For those of you not so in touch with the Philippine DotA scene, Pag-ibig 1 is one of the country’s best DotA teams, having competed in the Alienware Mineski Progaming League since the beginning. Despite having only secured gold once, the team has proved that they are more than capable of rubbing shoulders with the top teams in the world. Two of their players, Doc and Jighz, played with the Mineski-DotA in the past.
